Ghislaine Maxwell, the madam of deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has been relocated from the New York prison that inspired “Orange is the New Black” to a comparatively luxury Florida facility with less than 1,000 inmates that will allow the disgraced socialite to pursue yoga and team sports.
Maxwell was convicted last year and sentenced to 20 years in prison in June after the jury found that she conspired with Epstein to sexually abuse minors as young as 14. She complained about the conditions of the New York jail where she was held to the United Nations, and was ultimately sentenced to FCI Danbury, Connecticut, which is just north of New York City.
Now, reports The New York Post, Maxwell has been relocated to FCI Tallahassee, a Florida facility despite the previous recommendations of the judge responsible for overseeing sentencing.

The paper reports that Maxwell will wear “khaki pants and a matching shirt” or “a dress of the same color” as she is invited to participate in “apprenticeships and courses in horticulture and even cosmetology.” She’ll also enjoy “recreation, leisure and social programs” designed to promote “individual wellness” among inmates.
According to a prison handbook reported by the Post, she will have access to “arts and crafts programs” and “intramural team sports” including “softball, basketball, and volleyball.”
Other popular activities include “frisbee, flag football, pilates, and yoga.” Maxwell can also enjoy “talent shows” and “movies” to bond with her fellow inmates, of which there are less than 1,000.
Many have questioned Maxwell’s conviction, specifically how both she and Epstein were convicted of child sex trafficking without their clients – believed by some to be elite politicians and members of the British Royal Family – being discovered by the public or charged for their part in the crimes.
The issue has become so widespread it even has high profile UFC fighter Israel Adesanya asking “where’s the list” of Maxwell and Epstein’s clients who were “f**king those kids.”
