An unexplained explosion this morning at approximately 4 a.m. left one of the Georgia Guidestones reduced to stones and powder.

The Georgia Guidestones, which the state government likens to Stonehenge, contains cryptic messages calling for population control, a new universal language, and a new international world court. The strange messages on the pillars are reproduced in 8 languages, Arabic, Chinese, English, Hebrew, Swahili, Russian, Hindi and Spanish.

This morning, local media reports that an explosion rocked the area, with local residents providing photos of the destruction. Soon, videographers on helicopters captured one of the granite pillars almost completely reduced to dust.

Authorities are still investigating, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation claims that “unknown individuals” detonated an explosive device at the monument early this morning.

GBI officials confirmed that one of the pillars was destroyed by the explosive device.

No one knows who funded the creation of the Georgia Guidestones, which sit approximately 100 miles outside of Atlanta and were erected mysteriously in March of 1980.

Conservatives have questioned the purpose and intent of the Georgia Guidestones for years, with YouTube commentator Mark Dice openly calling for them to “be smashed into a million pieces” then “used for a construction project,” and said they have “a deep Satanic origin.”

In 2020, radio and TV host Alex Jones claimed that they were “spearheaded by Ted Turner, and of course, Bill Gates.” Ge added, “They built this monument calling for forced depopulation of the planet and one world government.”

The Georgia Guidestones have been subject to vandalism several times over the years.

In 2008, the monument was defaced with painted graffiti slogans including “Death to the New World Order,” and in 2014, local authorities contacted the FBI due to more graffiti that included the phrase “I am Isis, goddess of love.”

In a statement made on his show this morning, Jones disavowed the vandalism, saying “I do not agree with whoever did it because we need that evil edifice there as a confession letter.”

“We need it to be there to expose their plan,” said Jones.
