Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) recounted surviving an armed gunman who came to her gun-free school zone in 1990, and noted that Democrat politicians believe in Second Amendment for their armed security guards.
“I know exactly how it feels to be a student trapped in a school with a mentally ill person on the loose with a gun,” Greene said. “In 1990, in the wake of the Democrat gun-free school zone push, a deranged student brought three guns to my ‘gun-free’ high school.”
“As our classroom was locked down, my classmates and I wondered who would protect us when the only one there with a gun was the person who wanted to kill other students,’ Greene continued. “It was terrifying and we needed protection by someone with a gun to stop the madness.”

“It was that day I knew that guns save lives. Democrats actually agree,” Greene added. “They are protected with armed security everywhere they go. But Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi want to disarm law-abiding citizens while refusing to protect our children like they protect themselves.”
Greene concluded, “Our children deserve to be safe. They deserve to be protected just like politicians. Kids should be guarded with guns.”

Greene appeared on the Fox News show Tucker Carlson Tonight to discuss her experience on Thursday night.
In April, Greene described Democrats as “the party of pedophiles.”
“The Democrats are the party of pedophiles,” declared Greene. “The Democrats are princess predators from Disney.” She added that “The Democrats are the party of elementary school teachers trying to transition their elementary school-aged children and convince them they are a different gender.”
“This is the party of their identity, and their identity is the most disgusting evil, horrible thing happening in our country,” Greene added, “that’s why we have to say it. We have to be willing to say it, no matter how many little blue check marks get their feelings hurt on Twitter.”
