Former First Lady Melania Trump gave her first extended interview since leaving the White House in 2021 over the weekend, remarking on the rapid decline of the United States’ economy under Joe Biden. When asked about becoming First Lady again, she hinted that it may happen.
During a weekend interview with Pete Hegseth of “Fox & Friends”, Trump said that perhaps unlike her husband, she enjoyed living in Washington, D.C. and especially enjoyed taking care of the White House.
“I really like it there and I enjoyed living in the White House,” said Trump. “To be First Lady of the United States was my biggest honor, I think we achieved a lot in the four years of the Trump administration. I enjoyed taking care of the White House, it was my home for awhile.” She added, “I understood that it is the People’s House. It was a privilege to live there.”
Hegseth then asked Trump, “Maybe it will be your home again?” The former First Lady replied, “Never say never.”
Her comments likely add more fuel to those speculating that 45th President Donald Trump is planning another run for the White House in 2024. Publicly, the former president has stated that he has made his decision but cannot say it openly due to federal election laws.
Far from steering away from politics after leaving the White House, Melania Trump commented on the sagging economy, the nationwide shortage of baby formula, and the opioid crisis.
“It’s heart breaking to see that they’re struggling and the food is not available for children,” she said of the formula shortage. “In the 21st century, in the United States of America.”
When asked why she thought it was happening, the former First Lady replied, “Leadership.”
Trump was also asked for her thoughts about being ignored by major fashion magazines throughout her husband’s presidency, despite being a former model herself, and in contrast to fashion magazines’ seeming obsession with wives of Democrat presidents including Hillary Clinton, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, and Michelle Obama.
“They’re biased and they have likes and dislikes. It’s so obvious, I think the American people and everyone sees it,” said Trump.
“It was their decision and I have much more important things to do and I did in the White House than being on the cover of Vogue.”
When asked how she deals with media critics, Trump said she’s used to it.
“People I see always criticize me, whatever I do. I’m used to that,” said Trump. “I move forward and I’m here to help these people, and that is the mission.”
“Those people who criticize me, I would encourage them to help their own community,” she added. “Or maybe join my Foster the Future initiative.”

The nasty Obama/Clinton worshipers only show their jealous, pathetic selves in their criticisms of the Trump family!

The left was relentless on her from the time Trump was elected. She handled herself with dignity in spite of what they did.
