Marjorie Taylor Greene Endorses Blake Masters for Senate in Tight Arizona Race

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has endorsed Blake Masters, a strong America First candidate and the President of the Thiel Foundation, for U.S. Senate in a tight Arizona race.

Rep Greene made the endorsement late on Thursday night, declaring that Masters is exactly “the guy we need to represent Arizona in the US Senate.” Masters, who has positioned himself as an America First, pro-Trump candidate, is currently facing off against Attorney General Mark Brnovich, businessman Jim Lamon and two more candidates.

Greene applauded Masters, saying he would “take on Big Tech, fight the tyranny of the swamp, and investigate Fauci and his cronies,” and that together in Congress, the two of them along with others will “put the power back where it belongs: in the hands of the people.”

The endorsement of Masters from Greene comes a day after the Georgia Representative declared that she was “building a team” of America First fighters, in both the House and the Senate.

“We will have a team that exists in both chambers, and only serves the People,” she tweeted, “which makes it far more effective than any America-Last squad could ever be.”

Following the endorsement from Greene, Masters appeared with Laura Ingraham on Fox News, saying that the new America First team, which now likely includes JD Vance – who won the Republican Senate primary in Ohio this week – would “punch right through that wall” of Republican establishment politics.

“We need a change,” Masters said. “The same old Republican talking points, the same old Republicans in office. It doesn’t work any more. What the left is doing is crazy. You’ve got open borders, you’ve got skyrocketing inflation, skyrocketing crime. They literally want to teach your 8-year-old to be transgender, and if you complain about it, they’ll call you a terrorist.”

“The Republican Party cannot just be the party of low taxes,” he added. “If that’s all we are, then we’ll lose… You need new energy in the US Senate, that’s what JD represents, that’s what I represent. You need a vibe shift. You get us in there, and we will materially change how the US Senate works.”

Masters was third in the latest poll tracked by RealClearPolitics, but the poll showed the race is tightening after early polls showed Brnovich with a significant lead.

According to the Trafalgar poll, Lamon is in first place with 24.8% of the vote, followed by Brnovich at 23.9%.

At 19.4%, Masters is within swinging distance, and well ahead of both Michael McGuire and Justin Olson. It’s also noteworthy that 20.6% of those polled were undecided.

45th President Donald Trump has yet to make an endorsement in the race, though the primary date is not until August.
