Joe Biden reportedly told former President Barack Obama that he is seeking re-election as president in 2024.
Biden, 79, would be 82 years old if he were to be re-elected in 2024. He would be 86 when leaving his second term in office.
During a NATO summit in Brussels last month, Biden previously told reporters that he would be “very fortunate” if 45th President Donald Trump ran against him in the 2024 presidential election.
Last November, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Biden’s “intention” was to run for office again, but did not elaborate any further.
Trump, meanwhile, has repeatedly hinted that he will run for a second term in 2024, often suggesting that FEC regulations keep him from publicly stating his intentions until after the 2022 midterms.
Biden’s newly revealed presidential aspirations come as he faces historically low approval ratings among the American people.
Even left-leaning cable news network CNN discussed President Joe Biden’s flagging approval numbers in grave terms last week, bemoaning his “really, really, really bad” numbers.
“Well, at this point in his presidency, Donald Trump’s numbers, actually his average approval rating is one point higher than Joe Biden’s, which is at 41%,” Enten noted. “Donald Trump at 42%. A first term president at this point in his presidency, this is the lowest. This is the lowest for anyone who is elected to the presidency and didn’t get up there through the vice presidency. This is a really, really, really bad number.”
The news also comes after a series of Biden administration policy failures, as seen in the case of his air travel mask mandate that was just shut down by a federal judge, Valiant News reported.
However, some are growing more concerned over the president’s cognitive abilities.
During an Easter event at the White House on Sunday, the First Lady ordered Biden to “sit” and “stay” while they read children’s books to the kids in attendance.

Biden experienced a trademark “Biden moment” on Thursday, following a speech in North Carolina, miming a handshake when he was all alone on stage with nobody standing next to him.

In recent weeks, the president has also appeared to invent a few new non-English words, such as “toshuwiwebuilAmericawehavbabapromise” and “alsdfnnalcaofieajlskdfa.”
BIDEN: “America is a nation that can be defined in a single word… Alsdfnnalcaofieajlskdfa!”

The new terms are not to be confused with the word “trunalimunumaprzure” that Biden coined while on the 2020 campaign trail.

Should the president actually run for High Office once more in 2024, it would certainly be interesting for some to see what new words Biden creates during his run.
