The Biden White House is currently presiding over the highest gas prices ever recorded in American history. Despite prices rising steadily since the new administration began, the White House is laying the blame on Russia.
With gasoline costing citizens as high as $6.00 per gallon in some areas, and with inflation reaching another 40 year high, Americans appear to be growing frustrated with Joe Biden and his administration.

The spike in fuel costs did not come without warning.
When gas prices began to rise over one year ago, experts pointed to the Biden regime’s climate policies as the cause, and accurately predicted that such policies would contribute to even higher prices in the future.
Consider this excerpt from an article by the Washington Examiner published in March 2021:
“One of Mr. Biden’s first moves in office was to revoke permits for the Keystone XL Pipeline, which would have carried 800,000 barrels of oil per day from Canada to refineries in the Texas Gulf Coast region. He also issued a moratorium on new oil and gas drilling on federal lands.
Both actions likely will hinder attempts to scale up domestic energy production to meet growing demand.”
Well, the future is here, and the national price of gasoline per gallon is $4.32.
By taking such a position, it appears that the Biden regime rendered itself ill-prepared by essentially hindering American energy independence to appease his climate obsessive voter base ahead of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia that has disrupted energy markets.
Despite this, the President insists neither he nor his administration are at fault.
“It’s simply not true that my administration or policies are holding back domestic energy production,” said Biden, after cancelling the pipeline. “That’s simply not true.”
The apparent lengths that the White House is willing to go to deflect any blame for the rising fuel costs reached a new high when it released a video of Press Secretary Jen Psaki, who expertly shifted most of the blame on rising gas prices to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
It appears that the new term that the Biden regime is attempting to sell the American people is the so-called “Putin Price Hike,” but Americans seem to disagree.
“You may have noticed this week that your gas prices have gone up…a lot of it has to do with Vladimir Putin,” she said before admitting something that may come as a shock.
Toward the end of the video, Psaki took a page from the playbook of former President Donald Trump and declared that “the only way to protect the US over the long term is to become energy independent.”

The new position taken by the Biden regime is diametrically opposed to what Biden himself pledged to do on the campaign trail.
“We have to move toward net-zero emissions,” Biden said while debating President Trump in 2020.
“The first place to do that by the year 2035 is in energy production. By 2050, totally.”
