Democrats and leftists online are very upset at President Donald Trump for daring to file a lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and others involved in what he alleges was an orchestrated plot to link him and his 2016 campaign to the Russian state.
“In the run-up to the 2016 Presidential Election, Hillary Clinton and her cohorts orchestrated an unthinkable plot – one that shocks the conscience and is an affront to this nation’s democracy,” the lawsuit says.
“Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty,” it added. “They worked together with a single, self-serving purpose: to vilify Donald J. Trump.”
The lawsuit from Trump alleges that Hillary Clinton, other top Democrats such as Debbie Wasserman-Schulz and John Podesta, former British agent Christopher Steele, and James Comey, Peter Strzok, and Lisa Page of the FBI, falsified evidence and deceived law enforcement on a scale that makes Watergate “pale in comparison” to it.

Unsurprisingly, Democrats and their allies in the media are seething on social media about the lawsuit.
CNN Senior Legal Analyst Elie Honig claimed the lawsuit was “deeply flawed and utterly hopeless,” despite Alina Habba, the attorney for President Trump, noting that most of the lawsuit is “already proven through many, many investigations.”
It’s difficult to put into words just how deeply flawed and utterly hopeless this lawsuit is. https://t.co/AkFJo1ePrr

Senior political reporter for the Washington Post, Aaron Blake, decided to point out typographical errors in the lawsuit, rather than attack the content of the suit itself, while his colleague at WaPo, Philip Bump, instead described it as “insane.”
Trump's lawsuit misspells "fictitious" as "fictious" no fewer than 4 times.
But it did get it right 4 other times. pic.twitter.com/LLPZkHsQTo

Trump filed a lawsuit aiming to prove that Hillary Clinton was behind the Russia probe. To do so, the suit relies in part on *information stolen by the Russians as part of their effort to help him win*. It's insane. https://t.co/9n9mR9Dse0

More big Democrat accounts, such as Occupy Democrats, were also quick to attack the lawsuit, with one calling it a “sad legal stunt.”
BREAKING: Donald Trump files a lawsuit against Hillary Clinton, laughably alleging that she conducted an "unthinkable plot" to "sway the public's trust" and "vilify Donald J. Trump" and "cripple" his presidential bid. RT IF YOU THINK THE FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT MUST BE THROWN OUT!

JUST IN: Donald Trump just filed a lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and the DNC, alleging a conspiracy against him.
It's yet another sad legal stunt to distract from the disaster that was his presidency. https://t.co/1RvuYfR1qq

Others instead reverted back to theorising that the lawsuit may lead to an unredacted version of the Mueller report, which had been previously thrown out of the minds of liberal commentators for turning up nothing at all.
It would be poetic justice if the Trump lawsuit against Hillary Clinton led to the release of an unredacted Mueller report.

Trump's ridiculous, insane lawsuit was enabled by the complete and utter failure of cowards like Merrick Garland and Alvin Bragg, who have let Trump run out the clock on multiple felonies.

New- Trump filed a stunt lawsuit against Hillary Clinton & Ds claiming they framed him for conspiring w/ Russia in 2016. Note- Roger Stone’s trial & Manafort giving campaign info to Kilimnik proved he conspired w/ Russian intel. This is all a result of not holding him accountable

The lawsuit being filed comes just days after another victory for President Trump in the legal sphere, with pornographic actress Stormy Daniels being ordered to pay nearly $300,000 to Trump after an appeals court reaffirmed a decision from a lower court to award the 45th President legal fees and costs from a 2018 case.
