The Republican Governors Association released a new advertisement mocking Democrat governors who may be dragged down by Joe Biden’s sagging poll numbers.
The clip is captioned, “[Point of view]: You’re a Dem governor and someone brings up Joe Biden’s failed policies.”
It features the faces of Democrat governors and Joe Biden superimposed on a scene from Jurassic Park, the song “Dog Days Are Over” by Florence + The Machine, and audio from “Squid Game” – the viral Netflix hit – to show the Democrats running from Biden’s policies.

As the midterms approach, Biden has faced low poll numbers driven by a lackluster economy marked by a workforce malaise and historically significant inflation.
In February, Reuters reported that Biden’s approval rating dropped “to a new low.” Only 41% of Americans supported Biden’s job performance, while 56% disapproved.
According to the internationalist outlet, “Democrats are increasingly worried that dissatisfaction with Biden’s presidency could cost them their congressional majorities.” Reuters notes that, should this happen, “Biden’s legislative agenda could be doomed.”
It appears the Republican Governors Association agrees with this view of the Democrats’ odds later this year, and believes widespread dissatisfaction with Biden may result in more upsets like Glenn Youngkin’s surprise Virginia sweep for the Republicans.
