Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates has attempted to downplay his relationship with deceased billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein iin an interview with Australian news presenter Sarah Ferguson.
When asked about the disgraced financier by Ferguson, Gates appeared to be thrown off guard and responded, “Oh I’ve said that I’m, this is, you’re going way back in time”.
In the tense interview, Gates repeatedly maintained that he had no serious relationship with Epstein, and only had dinner with financier.

“I’ll say for over the hundredth time, yeah I shouldn’t have had dinners with him,” said Gates, when asked if he regrets the relationship.
Asked about Epstein’s propensity to gather “sexually compromising” material on his friends, Gates replied, “No, I mean it’s, no, I had dinner with him and that’s all.” He later stressed, “There never was any relationship of any kind.”
Shortly after Gates’ public divorce from his longtime wife and philanthropy partner Melinda, it was leaked to the media that Gates allegedly believed a close friendship with Epstein would help him garner a Nobel prize.
While Gates attempted to downplay his controversial ties to Epstein, and at times insist that it’s an obscure line of questioning, it has repeatedly surfaced when Gates interacts with the public.
In two separate “Ask Me Anything” threads, where users are invited to ask Gates questions and receive off-the-cuff answers on Reddit, the billionaire was slammed by users for having dinner with the deceased pedophile.
In the first thread, Gates wrote:
“Just what was Epsteins [sic] island like?” Zestyclose-Result-87 asked. “What did you do there?” Responding, Gates said that he had never visited any of his islands. “I did have meetings where Global Health funding was discussed,” he said. “In retrospect, I regret meeting with him.”
In the second, Gates was more reticent to respond to Redditors’ inquiries about his Epstein connection, even as more users continued to ask about the dead pedophile.
